Led 900+ person Saskatchewan River emergency leak response as Operations Chief of Staff.
-
Led 20+ Operators/Engineers through 18 HAZOPs (4 plant-wide), 10 provincial/internal audits, 200+ MOC risk assessments, Safety Case creation and AI-training implementation, reducing costs $1MM+.
PROCESS ENGINEER EIT | PROCESS TECHNICAL SPECIALIST, WORLEY (FORMERLY WORLEYPARSONS)
July 2012- March 2014
-
Co-designed a $500MM+ TIC bitumen extraction major project (TR-NMSP-E) relocating tailings through FEED (and HAZOPs) into Detailed Engineering (provided deliverables including hydraulics, vacuum breaker and PSV sizing, PDOGs, LDTs and P&IDs as a Process Engineer, increasing efficiency 10%.
-
Designed the stilling well purification system and stilling well sump diffusion system for ~$40MM TIC discharge program (APCWDS) to meet environmental code (provided P&IDs, LDTs, datasheets and H&MBs FEED deliverables for diesel storage and stilling well designs) as a Project/Process Engineer.
-
Created novel operating point extrapolation to open channel/pump pipeline software using regression machine learning for modeling tailings pipeline flow, resulting in cost savings from asset re-use.
